What kind of exercises are you looking to do? Gym work, running, etc? As one of the members Tom has mentioned on numerous occasions, you need to do the ground work and that means a healthy diet.
I found that setting myself short term reachable goals gave me the confidence to go that little bit further. Don't set yourself targets which you will never meet, it will just dent your confidence.
I fell into that mistake in the past - setting myself unachievable goals thinking I was giving myself a target. Total disaster!
Also, the longer it takes you to lose weight and tone up the more chance of keeping it off - a strange but true fact.
