      so my best mates BF tells me last week that hes booked a swish hotel and had a ring made for my m8s birthday,
      he showed me the ring - platinum with both their initals engraved inside, cracker of a ring !
      BUT I knew instantly that my m8 would have a complete stroke when he presented the ring

      they went away at the weekend and came back this morning, I was in their flat feeding the cat when they walked in...
      bottom line my pal hated the ring and gave it back, they were in the resteraunt and they brought an engagment cake over and my m8
      said take it back !! ....my m8 said they had a crap time and now their not even speaking....i shouldnt laugh but

      any failed proposals?

      harsh to laugh but i couldnt help it hearing that either
      I didnt give my mrs's a choice i got her knocked up before i asked well had to ask

      I hated proposing, I dont get nervous over anything really but this had my ass hanging! It didnt fail though.

      That's a bit harsh lol! Did your mate just not like the ring or not want to get engaged altogether? If it was just the ring, surely he could have said yes but tactfully asked to change the ring?

      I've never proposed to anyone, nor will I, so no risk of failure there!
