http://www.electricpig.co.uk/2008/07...battery-power/ Good idea, if these actually work, and can stimulate weights up to 40kg, which is what dumbells in gyms generally go up to, it might be worth geting a set, in the future
Electric Dumbells Interesting idea but it just wouldn't seem right to be curling shyte like that. Bet they would cost a fair whack also.
Electric Dumbells Yeah they'd cost £££ probably, and you'd have to 'switch them off' before slinging them to the ground with an almighty bang after each set, and so the ego boys wouldn't like them. Plus you'd have everyone lying about the weight they were just lifting. I can hear the arguments already, 10stone bicep boy to his mate 'I was just curling 40kg then, felt easy' - 'Bullsh1t you didn't even have them switched on'
Electric Dumbells Imagine though, if you genuinely selected 30 kg to press. And it glitched to 50. Ouch.
Electric Dumbells Balls spinning around inside at super a high velocity spells trouble if the end comes off and the balls go zooming off at 300mph straight into your best fine china, pet or straight into the screen of your brand new, "never can ever be got again for the price you got it for" 80 inch led, 3d tv?
Electric Dumbells reps to anyone who can explain with real science as to how these work as i would of thought that as the 'spinning balls' are inside a small tube then the effects of an increase the spinning speed inside the tube would mean nothing to the person holding the tube????????
Electric Dumbells I'll google it now and see what I can find, I'm guessing they'll work a bit like them gyroball things, they basically generate more 'gravity' due to the speed the balls spin (no homo)
