Definitely water mate. Absolutely certain. Cant do olive oil anyway cos of the perforation.

My best mate just became a dad and I cant ring him cos all I can hear is bloody echoing!

Well when your ears are blocked they syringe them with warm water, your ears sound like the opposite mabye they can suck the water out in the same way or dry it up somehow, salt water dries a runny nose up.. Similar principle sort of lol although this is pure water... Cant hurt to ask them they can refer you to someone else if they dont have a clue anyway. Most GP's dont have a fvcking clue

This has happened a lot to me while I was learning how to swim and the trainer asked me to go underwater. I just tilted my head towards my waist and later jiggled my ear vigorously.

Try tilting your head to the side and gently pulling on your earlobe to help drain the water. You can also try lying down with the affected ear facing down or using a few drops of rubbing alcohol and vinegar to dry it out. If it persists, consider seeing a doctor.

Yes, that is also a good idea. You can also use cotton swaps but again don't push it too far. Once my friend accidentally did it and he had to go to a doctor to get it removed through some kind of vacuum.
