      Looking for some imput by people who know what they are talking about so i can compile a list for the newbs.

      Don't try to lift a retarded amount of weight with shyt form. It's pointless and you will look dumb

      Do a high frequency routine.

      Do compound exercises

      eat enough calories(500 over / under maintenance) / protein / carbs / fats

      Do add weight to the bar each session, or at least every other session.

      IIFYM

      ----------------------------------------

      Don't do a routine where muscles are hit only once a week

      Don't use bad form

      Don't do drugs, and stay in school kids.

      You can do a routine where your muscles are hit only once a week and still make gains. 5/3/1 pretty much hits most things once a week, and I still add weight on every month. U mad?
