I'm 15,155,5"9 if that matters It's really f***ing pissing me off how I can barely do 185 and strugge at 5 reps. What the hell.. I'm good at every other core s*** and this is terrible. I could be top 15 at my school if my max wasn't 225. When I squat I have good form , except on this 185 **** where my knees cave inside instead of staying stable.. How can I get better at this ****ing exercise
Squat problems practice? LOL im 132lb and im squatting 220 x 5 3 sets and yes im on SS .. just started 2 weeks ago ! i went from 185x5 --->220 x 5 in 2 weeks.. did 220 today LOL
Squat problems practice. squat 3x a week . kept adding 5lb per session.. good music? no fapping? more intense? LOL iunno . 5'7 if that helps im 5'7.
Squat problems Just gradually increase the weights and make sure to use strict form. You're still young so just stick to it and you'll be repping 225 in no time.
Squat problems Get over yourself Jianxxx, this guy is asking for help. As humiliating as this might sound I'd highly encourage you to cut your weight back on your squat so that when you perform a squat your form is flawless. Just put 25-45 pounds on each side, perform a few sets at a rep range youre comfortable with, when your form is perfected the weight will come
Squat problems .. im giving him help :/ . i said to just squat more frequently > . > EDIT: he asked for help and i gave him an answer. just used myself as an example to prove Starting strength is good and can help him with his problem. tyvm
Squat problems I don't think squatting more frequently will be the answer. You need to give your leg muscles sufficient recovery time since squats put a lot of strain on your lower body, I would stick to using perfect form and gradually increasing the weight as I said before. Try doing this and squatting once a week and you should make some progress.
Squat problems Top 15 in your school doesn't matter. That's a stupid goal. For warmups vamp the weight up then do work set. Squat more, might be too much weight and your form is probably **** if your knees are shaking. In around 3-4 months you can probably add 100 lbs to your squat if you follow a good program. knees too weak, need to use lower weight, build knee strength, squat trees
