Morning folks, I'm getting sick to death of trying to chew through cold, dry chicken breast every day. I find the meat in chicken legs so much easier to get down. Other than the extra fat in the legs (I'm not too worried about, I'm an ecto with a clean diet), is there any reason why chicken legs are a bad idea? Anyone know how much protein is in a large chicken leg? Westin Gourmet reckon 26g protein in a chicken drumstick but I find that a bit high??
Legs V breast i like chicken leg/thighs i thing its cause there on the bone there have alot more taste and dont seem to dry out as easily as breasts, but if you but food bags that you cook meat in in the oven, you can put chicken breasts and stock in there if you like and there loose no moisture, my chicken breasts in there seem to get bigger and swell up lol
Legs V breast Not being rude but maybe you should change the way you cook the breast. Steam it, put it in a stew with veggies, make kebabs with spice and peppers.
Legs V breast I've just made some breast up using Nandos sauce so we'll see how that goes. Always seem to struggle to get it down and end up retching. Chicken legs seem to go down by the dozen
Legs V breast this is very nice mate, i add chicken breast, potatoes sliced, carrots, and mixed peppers (the frozen peppers seem to add alot more flavour than fresh peppers) http://groceries.asda.com/asda-estor...questid=188068 and this gave me the idea of using food bags for meat, you can buy seperate oven food bags, and add your own things or just use to cook the meat alone.
Legs V breast Problem being this is when I'm at work so I cook the night before and take it to work to eat cold. Always ends up tasting like an old flip flop
Legs V breast I've had these before mate and they're pretty good. Can't imagine them being too grand the next day when they're cold mind :S
Legs V breast ive re-heated mine a couple times and i think it tastes nicer lol, manbe cause it all soaks in more?
