Alright, I was strolling around to day and came across a store called "Rivals". It's a supplement store, and the guy came up to me and asked me what I was trying to do ( get bulky or cut up). Well I told him I wanted to cut down to 6% body fat, and he told me the only way I could do it is to eat a low carb diet, below 10-20 grams? Is this true? Or can I simply eat a 4500 calorie deficit a week? Would really like some feedback.

Absolutely not true. At your age, if you start really lifting heavy and eat moderately clean, you could start making some serious gains. Don't set yourself up for failure right off the bat by listening to some whack job. (I'm not saying he was wrong in suggesting that approach would work, but is it the only way? Certainly not!)

I would recommend you go back and read the basic nutrition stickies and start to get a general idea of how each of the macronutrients (carbs, fats and proteins) play an important part in your body's functions.

      Good luck!

Washing food does not impact muscle mass.

Nacersusaf is the one that needs to post studies indicating that washing food makes muscles bigger.
