Yeah, I begin with 2 to 3 liters and gradually increase it to 5 to 6 liters a day, Helps me a lot and has improved my digestive system as well.

I drink quite a bit of water daily..usually a gallon & a half or more. I measure it in pint glasses and today I'm already at eight pints which is a gallon. I'l drink 3-4 more pints this evening. Water is good for you.

      Hey everyone,

This is such an important topic, and while staying hydrated is crucial, it’s worth asking—can you drink too much water? The answer is yes, and it can actually be dangerous.

Drinking excessive amounts of water in a short time can lead to a condition called hyponatremia, or water intoxication. It happens when your blood’s sodium levels drop too low because of the excess water diluting it. This can cause symptoms like nausea, headaches, confusion, and in extreme cases, even seizures or death.

While it’s rare, this can happen to athletes who drink too much water during long events without replacing electrolytes, or even to people who overhydrate out of habit.

A good rule of thumb is to listen to your body and drink when you’re thirsty. Most people don’t need to force water intake unless they’re in extreme conditions like hot weather or prolonged exercise.

What’s everyone’s take on this? Have you ever felt like you overdid it with water, or do you think the “8 glasses a day” rule works fine for most?
