As i've said in my previous few posts im a nutrition rookie and starting to make a nutrition plan up. im going on the advice of 5-6 meals per day (a meal every 3 hours roughly) 40% carbs, 40% protein and 20% fat. Only problem is i am getting very varying answers in my research of how many calories i should consume to build muscle without gaining fat! 1 site is calculating i should be consuming 2900 and another 1900! i thought the 1st seemed more likely but i dont want to start eating that and pile on the fat! Im 25, 5ft 9.5in and weigh 160lbs - training mon - fri for about an hour a day. any help would be much appreciated. Cheers.
