      Evening all,

      Does anyone else buy these? I tend to half of one a day but have absolutely not idea of nutritional values? I guess they will all be diff bevuase of the different flavours?

      my mate doesnt rate them at all TBH, he says there full of water etc...

      I have no proof either way, but he knows his stuff.

      i have bought them on the rare occasion that i need to get some food down me, but tbh i dont think they are as good as i'd like to think they are for me. they taste great and you can eat a lot of it but i have found them to be kind of fatty in taste. nothing beats a lean grilled chicken breast.

      I used to live on them mate.

      He once told me about an advert he saw in a butchers " trade " magazine,

      " why sell meat when you can sell water "

      It was basically a machine that injected chickens with water before packing and sale to the public.

      there filled with water then frozen to boost the weight.look for the free range birds.there meat is moist and more of it when cooked.

      People prefer the taste of factory tho believe it or not.

      unfortunately i dont think they use free range in the supermarkets with those cooked ones.im not sure though ive only bought them a couple of times

      your joking milky surely! buy a battery hen and a free range.cook them both the same for the same time and see the difference.thats directed at those that prefer the battery hens not you mate

      Aparently they did a taste test and people said the free range were to tough and chewy.
