hello doin my first jab right now "outer thigh" i bottled it twice half way in and i get a sharp pain is this normal? the first half of the needle is fine

Might be brushing a nerve. I'd change the pin for a new one re swab and move the site by 2cm or so and try again. Sometimes you can just push through sometimes you need to move the pin.

dont know why so many people advise not to jab quad, its easy and painless IMO

try and work up to doing delts when you can, so much easier and pain free (providing not doing more than 1.5-2ml as a beginner)
