People have been telling me that I am spending too much time in the gym with my exercises and "over-working". For instance, tomorrow is Back-Biceps day for me and I will do anywhere from 15-20 or maybe a few more total sets for my back. For my biceps, I usually do another 15-18 total sets. If I try doing anything less and leave the gym, I feel as if I should have worked harder! And that I didn't stimulate my muscles enough... What do you think?!?

for me 20 set for my back would kill it and i would be hurting for awhile but if you are ok with it id say stick with it your the only one who can say your overtraining

Well I think the only thing holding back my gains is the fact that I really am not eating in a surplus.

30-36 sets in a workout is completely unnecessary and probably isn't better than one with say 15 TOTAL sets.

After working the bodyparts with anything less, I really don't feel like it is enough. Even with the high amount of sets I do on my back for instance, it isn't even sore afterwards. I'm not seeing any sign of overtraining.

At this intensity, it has been about a year or more.
