Hey guys, Just wondering if Any of you guys basically regard drinking as a sort of cheat meal? I'm about to start cutting and I basically eat pretty healthy but I'm sure as some of you do, I like to drink quite a bit on weekends, and what I gather is most drinks contain ALOT of empty calories. So I was just wondering what your guys take on it is, in regards to cutting etc. Cheers!
Alcohol as a cheat meal? Oh **** off. Just because some of us have a social life and likes the occasional drink, doesn't mean we're not serious about nutrition.
Alcohol as a cheat meal? you only live once. I say drink up OP srs. Just know what you're drinking and try to take shots on the rocks to get drunk, or use 0 calorie beverages as mixers like coke zero etc. Personally, I only drink vodka on social occasions
Alcohol as a cheat meal? http://www.leangains.com/2010/07/tru...nd-muscle.html Martin Berkhan seems to differ. Now **** off, midgets.
Alcohol as a cheat meal? At least he is serious enough to come and ask for our opinion. Some of you guys needed to lighten up about drinking, no need to push your 'hardcore' lifestyle on others. I'm sorry OP but I don't have enough experience on the subject to comment.
Alcohol as a cheat meal? Alcohol = calories just like anything else... if you put more calories in than you burn you gain weight... count your calories.
Alcohol as a cheat meal? He just did. The same way you prove anything in science. You make up a theory and try to disprove it. In the end it's just mathematics. The thesis is "You only live once". There are no evidence to support the opposite. If you do it the other way around "You live twice", it's easy to disprove, seeing as there is nothing to suggest that you are correct. There. I just proved it.
