  • Which Routine is better for Mass gain???? (REPS)

      Routine 1 - Is 4 on/1off/Repeat
      Routine 2 - Is 3 on/1off/Repeat

      Routine 1 would be higher volume than routine 2. Both would have 90% compound movements and about 10% isolation exercise.

      My goal is to gain muscle mass.

      .

      Routine 1

      Monday - Chest/Tris
      Tuesday - Back/Bis/Calves
      Wednesday - Shoulders/Traps/Forearms
      Thursday - Legs/Calves/Abs
      Friday - Rest
      Saturday - Repeat

      Routine 2

      Monday - Back/Shoulders/Traps
      Tuseday - Legs/Calves/Abs
      Wednesday - Chest/Tris/Bis
      Thursday - Rest
      Friday - Repeat

      Which one do you think is better for mass gains? assuming ofcourse i would be in a calorie surplus!

      have done both. strength went up significantly on SS, but I am really looking to hit each muscle group harder and i just dont feel you can do that with SS and im not a huge fan lyles

      then push/pull/legs rest /thread. Dont go to 1x a week frequency

      I think caloric surplus along with progressive tension overload is good for mass, i'm not 100% sure though.

      I would also say a 2x a week frequency push/pull/leg, neither of those

      neither is once a week frequencey.

      routine one hits each muscle group every 5th day
      routine two hits each muscle group every 4th day

      lol thanks, I got that part down, just curious as to what routine you guys think is better

      neither is once a week frequencey.

      routine one hits each muscle group every 5th day
      routine two hits each muscle group every 4th day

      Won't really matter imo, but i'd do PHAT.
