      Hello.

I understand if you think this is a ridiculous post. I wanna buy a membership to the gym, but I'm too afraid to go to the gym. I'm too skinny and I really wanna get muscles and be less embarrassed over my body. And if you're gonna say "eat food", well... I can eat as much as I want without gaining any pounds.

The problem is that I'm afraid of what the other people at the gym are thinking about me. They're probably really muscular compared to my really skinny body. So yeah... I'm afraid if they will laugh at me or if they'll laugh if I use the equipment the wrong way, because I have no experience with the gym equipments.

How could I get rid for this fear? I really wanna train and gain muscles like other guys on my age do.

Sorry for any spelling or grammatical errors, English is not my first language.

I can tell you with 100% confidence that no one will care or make fun of you for being a skinny bitch in the gym. Most people will go out of their way to help if they see you making an effort to improve yourself.

A gym is actually one of the nicest places on the planet IMO. There's a lot of etiquette there that doesn't exist elsewhere.

Most people at my gym are pretty average looking. Stop being a beta phaggot and just go. Eat a LOT and lift, you'll grow

Regardless of what you think, you are not eating enough if you are not gaining weight. If it's a 24 hour gym, go late at night or early in the morning. Everyone has to start somewhere

listen to what spidey says. nobody cares about you being skinny and not having alot of muscle right now. it's ok. you're trying to better yourself and if you're couragouse enough to take the first step and start lifting, people at the gym will respect you. besides, you probably won't be the only one like yourself there

That is false. Also, nobody is going to make fun of you at the gym. If you constantly go, people would respect you more than the the big guys who seem to only go to film their 1RM bench. Jump on the free weights like "all the big guys" and you will see results in no time if you are eating enough.

OP, don't be worried about it, no ones gonna give you a second look unless your acting like an idiot. There are plenty of skinny guys at pretty much all gyms. There are a lot of fat people that use the exact same excuse. Stop with the excuses, get in the gym and start working out. If you don't walk through the door then you'll always be a skinny guy embarrased about his looks. No one goes to the gym their first time looking like Roelly or any other professional BB, they all started out small (or fat in some cases!)

Yep, in a gym people that see a new person are often willing to help them out, show them better exercises, ect. I find my gym to be a very very friendly and informative place
