What steak is the softest and easy to chew? Got some sirloin from asda and was really tough and chewy?

      Cook it properly.

Personally a proper steak should be fried off in a pan with evoo and a small lump of butter then stuck in the oven until cooked...I like mine rare and usually grill them as the frying options gets me rather off diet!

If you can only get your hands on tough cuts whack 'em in a stew, tastes awesome and it's always tender

its luck of the draw sometimes with steak.1 week you could get a really nice sirloin from asda and the next week it could be really chewy.tesco and morrisons steak i find is almost always nice.maybe 2 out of 10 will be a fit chewy.the longer its cooked the tougher it gets aswell so nice and pink is always best
