When viewing a package or whatever, in relation to macronutrients, do you go by the total fats? Or add on the saturated/whatever other types as well?

So for future reference it's always like that? Just go by Fat: (n) grams, and ignore the rest?

Satured Fats / Total Fats Question

As Flat4Suby said, saturated fats are a part of total fats. Therefore it is 7g of total fat with 1g of it being saturated fat, not 8g of total fat (so not 7g of fat + 1g of saturated fat). So if you want to use this peanut butter to calculate out your fat macro intake, use the total fat of 7g.

Satured Fats / Total Fats Question

And 6g is a mystery combination of poly and monounsaturated fats. Kinda off the OP's original topic, but have you guys seen the reduced fat peanut butter? When I first saw that I just stared at it and thought: I am eating peanut butter because it is a great source of essential fats. Why would you take fat out of a fat source? That's like taking protein out of chicken breast.

Satured Fats / Total Fats Question

Yes, go by whatever it says next to fat. So for this peanut butter for example, go by Fat 7.0 g. If it said Fat 9.0, then go by 9, if it said Fat 12.0, go by 12. Don't necessarily ignore the rest, take a look at it to see where the total fat comes from, just for your curiosity. It'll come from a combination of saturated fats, trans fats, polysaturated fats, and monosaturated fats. Saturated fats and trans fats are known as "bad fats" so try to limit those, especially trans fats, saturated fats are better than trans fats and are in most foods that have any type of fat content, so you basically have to consume those. Polysaturated and monosaturated fats are "good fats" consisting of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fats, respectively.

Yes OP, but as AyeTee77 said, don't just ignore the rest. Tracking your saturated fat per day is important too.

Don't listen to these people. Nothing is wrong with saturated fat as long as you don't go stupid eith it.

Eat, track macros, profit, enjoy the process and repeat. Don't not pick over dumb stuff, eat a balanced diet and everything should fall in line.
