      Hey what is the optimal amount of rest you should have between sets? And does the rest between exercises count?
      Asking this because I practically killed my legs on the last set of hack squats and I took a6 minute break. This was on hypertrophy day btw

      Depends on the weight and the lift.

      Depends on a lot of things.

      Generally 1-5 minutes? Longer rests on bigger exercises usually.

      i rest until my heart beat is back to normal

      brb people think i'm having a heart attack when i have my right hand on my chest for 10 minutes

      I rest at max about a minute and thirty seconds between sets. I refuse to lose my pump in a workout

      Yeah I usually do 90 seconds, but what about between exercises

      90 seconds is at max its normally around 45 seconds to a minute and in my workout I dont ever take longer then 90 seconds without doing a set or excercise, why the **** would you? Like I said I REFUSE to lose my pump im almost paranoid of it

      How tired are you after each set? I find it pretty hard to get up from the ground after the last set of an exercise
      Brb people thinking I died
