      Refreshing and colorful fruit smoothies called batidos are served at Cuban snack bars all over Florida—try this recipe with blueberries and banana for a vacation in a cup.

      Ingredients for 1 serving

      1 ripe banana, peeled and cut into chunks
      4 ice cubes
      ½ cup frozen blueberries
      1 cup buttermilk
      1 tablespoon sugar

      Preparation (10 minutes)

      Combine banana, blueberries, sugar, ice cubes and buttermilk in a blender. Blend until smooth.
