Suffer from bad shins and read on another thread to try new training shoes.

Anyone know the best ones to remove impact from my shins.

Get to JD or any shop m8 and have them examine your sole instep. They will tell you what are best for you.

Training wise id say Asic's are probably the best.

There are three types of gait. You need to go to a running shop and have your running examined. If you go to the trafford center, theres a shop there called the sweat shop, they have the facilities there bud. After that you can buy appropriately. I spent £90 on mine, but it saves my legs exploding when Im running or doing cardio.

yes mate like natty says get examined properly then your instep can be monitored to see if your foot arch is collapsing or too high.. thats what normally causes shinsplints

I 2nd dave's shout for asics milky, they can be quite expensive but their perfect for the job. Not sure about your area but we have a shop in liverpool that specialises in them, the take examinations of your feet ect to see where the pressure points are ect then make the inner custom for you.

      Roughly £80-£100.

Get yourself down to a specialist running store and get your gait analysed ... best decision I even made buying a pair of shoes from a store like that.

Had them a year now and they're still unbelievably comfy. Be prepared to spend ~£100 though.
