Whenever it's convenient to have a meal.

I would say that it doesn't matter, as long as you consume enough protein in a 24 hour period. I don't think protein when you wake up or protein two hours later makes any difference.

When will taking in protein be best for muscle growth? You guys are giving me answers without anything to back them up. Im looking for answers that are backed up by reaserch. Im just going to eat like normal and make sure to get my macros. I'm asking this just to know. I've found several sources saying 2/4-24 hours is when peek MPS occurs.

I'm trying to get more to back this up.

Please explain how this offers any advantage as long as your daily macros are met.

You need to get some protein in you when you wake up because you haven't had any in so long your body needs it.
