I've read the stickies and I'm well aware that timing is not an important element of diet, hitting macros / calorie intake is.
However, I'm going to start working out in a few weeks and I'm wondering:
      1) How many grams of carbs and protein do you have PRE and POST workout?
      2) What are those foods? (List amounts)
      3) How soon before a workout and after a workout do you consume these

I'm doing this just for a basis for when I start planning my diet in a few weeks.

      About 60 - 90 minutes before a workout.
After workout - as soon as you finish

1-2 hours before workout I have a regular meal (whole grain, lean meat source, veggies, around 600-800 kcal)
30 min preworkout I have 1-2 scoops of whey protein (+3g creatine)
on my way to gym i drink my MONSTER energy drink (26g sugar?)
intraworkout I sip on my mix of 1 scoop vitargo and BCAA's (25g sugar [vitargo is similar to dextrose])
immediately postworkout I have 1 scoop whey, 1 scoop casein, 2 scoops vitargo (50g sugar), 3g creatine
1-2 hours postworkout I have another regular meal (whole grain, lean meat source, veggies, around 600-800 kcal)

Lately I've been having a Guinness Foreign Extra Stout post-workout, it has 176cals per 12oz and 14g carbs, 7.5% ABV.

OK that's fine, as long as you aren't putting misleading information in the OP's mind you're welcome to do what you find works for you
