Other Peoples Children, Would you Ever Interveine?

I got off a late flight last night.....there was a little blonde girl (which reminded me strongly of my own daughter who i was missing loads) being made to walk all through the airport or dragged on a case.....she was only around 3............she was just mega tired, disorientated, crying and needed a cuddle.

Her parents were obviously tired too but just kinda ignored her - i was fuking livid..............it angered me in a way i have rarely experienced AND IT TOOK ALL I HAD TO STOP ME SAYING "PICK HER UP YOU FUKING **** HOUSES"

I have called the police and then went out to a bunch of ****heads after a party because the children were up and on the street - thats a no brainer, i'd whale the p1ss out anyone hurting a kid in my view no matter what.

But at what point is it ok to give harsh advice?

Nope, never get involved, it's not my business and you'll only get a load of grief for it so no point.

I'm not a parent so i would just get the whole "you're not a parent so what would you know" thrown at me.

Just because the child came out of your vagina doesn't mean he/she is yours to do with as you please.

i know - I'm absolutely all for letting people bring their children up how they see fit.....its a very difficult thing at best for anyone......i think this just angered me for personal reasons maybe.....

I think i would have been out of order had i said anything

Hard question, but I think I would have had to say something. When my kids are tired after a flight I have put my 5 year old in the pushchair to sleep and carried the little one in a sling. Poor little mite x

Tough one, you will probably end up standing there looking like some weirdo after they have shouted at you, grabbed their kid and run off.

I suppose the airport one is subjective, as the parents were stressed etc. But you were well within your right about the kids outside.
