      Hey everyone, I'm actually leaving Florida for PA tomorrow night and I was just wondering what would be the best foods to eat while on the drive? How much to eat? How frequently? I'm open for suggestions. As of right now, I will have some of my meals which consist of chicken, brown rice, broc, tilapia, sweet potato, celery, carrots, lettuce, eye of round. I have combos of those (protein, carb, veg) in different containers. I also have available whey, casein and multiple protein bars.

      FYI I am trying to lose weight while build muscle. Havent been able to do any exercise yesterday, today and wont be able to tomorrow

      I am trying to stay around 1600-2000 calories for the entire day.

      Can bring sandwiches, fruit, jerky, etc...

      Sounds like you have already pre-planned and are good to go. So you should be fine.

      Can eat as frequent as you like while adhering to calorie/macro targets. Easy.

      If you have a driver's license, you should already be old enough to know this, but eat when you're hungry and select foods that you enjoy.

      And, by the way, it seems like your caloric intake is ridiculously low.

      To be honest I am very confused what my calorie intake should be. I have MyFitnessPal and in order for me to lose 1 1/2 a week, it wants me to consume 1820 calories a day. I looked at a different website and it told me for maintenace it wants me at 2878, fat loss 2303, extreme fat loss, 1727.....

      btw I am 5,9 171 lbs. 24 years old Active, I usually do cardio twice a day, everyday and weight train anywhere from 4-6 times a week.

      You're 5'10" tall and weigh 171 pounds. Why in the world at you attempting some type of "extreme fat loss" diet?

      LOL...holy crap! Why cardio 2x/day..and EVERYDAY?

      I would think that would be the quickest way to cut fat, as long as keeping my protein in take high and making sure I eat all 6-7 meals everyday.

      I did Kris Gethins 12 week transformation. I kinda cant stop ya know? I might tone it down and do it once a day here and there but I always get my morning cardio in and a light cardio directly after workout

      Firstly, meal frequency is largely irrelevant to the outcome of your diet. It's total daily energy intake and micro/macronutrient sufficiency that governs.

      Next, you need sufficient lean body mass or the outcome of a cut is to look skinny.

      I urge you to pick a different program. Try Starting Strength or another proven beginner program.
