I'm 28 yrs old, 161lbs, planning on cutting and 3x a day workout schedule.
My dietician recommended that my calories is 1760, carbs is 248g, Protein is 88g and Fats is 50g.
From what I read in some article is that when cutting is that I should maintain 1g per pound of protein of lean mass?
But then again I also read some where that carbs are more important in cutting because when you workout carbs create a protective layer for your protein.
Any response would be a great help. Thank u!

I'd cut some of the carbs and fat, and replace with protein. You're right... 1g is a good number, but you don't need to exceed that and go overboard. You'll want a consistent supply of food during cutting though for sure.

She gave you some fukced up numbers. Where she get her degree? Apollo College?

If you read the stickies here you should already know those numbers are incorrect.

Your BMR is roughly 1600 using the Mifflin calculator. Multiple by 1.4 - 1.5 or 1.45 (high end of 1-3 days exercise, low end of 3-5 days exercise) and we get bout 2320 deduct 10-20% and you end up with 1860-2090 calories.
1700 is too low on paper, but only results will be able to determine your actual needs. I'd still start a little more conservative

Protein needs to be atleast 1g/lb on a cut, but needs not exceed 1.25g/lb
Fat shouldn't be any lower than .35g/lb, however .45g/lb is a safer bet.
Carbs are non-essential and can be combined with protein and fat in any ratio you prefer to finish out daily calories.

Well I don't think BBing is her forte anyways.
But I'm having a hard time meeting my protein cause I usually eat fish! Which is less in protein but more on fats.
I'm also having a hard time getting it because you can really eat protein w/o fats on it.
      How do you achieve that?

Have you heard of chicken,beef/steak,black beans, cottage cheese, greek yogurt etc...

All of these have protein that will help you hit your protein requirements.

Yes I have but I have more fish as a food but when I use mynetdiary even w/ beef and chicken I can't seem to reach it!
      But that was on bulk!
But will see cause I am on a cut right now!
Anyways my dietician says I need to aim for a 1lbs a week! So using some of your recommendation and using my net diary.
My calories should be 2138, protein 135, carbs is 247 and fat is 68!
My protein was base on my omron fat loss device that says I'm 17% fat.
Anyways help would be appreciated thanks!

Do you live in an area where you don't have access to other protein sources besides fish?
