What is the last short term goal that you successfully achieved? I personally achieved mine last week. I set a goal beforehand that I wanted to lose a few pounds and I finally did it with no cheating on my healthy lifestyle. I usually have a big sweet tooth but I am so glad that I am getting better at self control so this is my personal achievement. I would love to hear yours!
I would really like to be 15 lbs lighter by June 1st, I feel this is going to be quite easy because of how active I am during the spring. We shall see! Great work achieving your goal annaU93! Its always great to be able to reach a goal after setting it. Keep up the great work!
Thank you! I see you are confident in achieving your goal and I think that just positive thoughts like this will definitely get you to achieve this goal. Many people think that they will not reach the goal and usually they don't because they have been having thoughs of "just getting by" and (shockingly) they don't achieve their goal in the long run.
I would like to lose about 10 pounds before summer because I put on a few extra pounds during the winter months. I got married in December and my husband is a terrific cook, plus all of the holiday eating hasn't been good for me. I am also like the previous poster and I am more active in the spring and summer when there are lots of things to do outside. I say 10 pounds, but it may not be that much, I really just want my jeans to fit like they used to and not be so tight.
