      and how often you lift and do cardio?

      Maintenance ~3000.

      Lift 3 times a week (probably skip on friday once or twice a month).

      Cardio=Zero, but I live in New York and walk 3miles a day minimum. Need to get some cardio going again.

      ~3000.. Lift 4 days a week, moderate cardio, desk job.

      ^ Wow..high maintenance...I think I'm somewhere around 2700.

      edit: full body workout 3x a week. i play basketball for cardio 1-2x a week..

      Maintenance ~4,000...no lifting or cardio.

      how do you even get these numbers? did you get your basal metabolic rate checked by a doctor or something?

      I think height is a big thing with maintenance calories---the two inches we have on you=bone, skin, etc etc all of which require food. Then again, we're all around the same weight and we're talking about a 300 calorie difference.

      Yea true..just when I hear the number 3 it seems high to me..but your right, its only 3k.

      Through experimenting with diet over a month or two. Keep the same steady weight for that long, and you've found your maintenance.
