Took delivery of my syringes, swabs, needles etc this morning (medisave) and my first cycle has finally become real to me in my head. Unpacking a box of medical supplies and looking at the actual size of 1.25 inch needles made me think "fcuk i`m actually doing this." The ancillary and PCT meds when they arrived were small packages and it seemed very low key but a big fcukoff box of needles and syringes lol.
It's going to be a lot more real when I jam it in my quad though!

It's only real when you feel the needle bury itself deep into your quad and pump some beautiful amber oil into your muscle

      Welcome to heaven

I was so excited when mine arrived to and even on injection day now i get excited but the first time i injected my hands, even though i was really wanting to do it, were shaking like a ****ting dog.

Good luck and make sure you are well and truely ready mentally n physically before you start and keep a clear head so you dont cock it up

its only real when you pull out the needle, blood shoots across the bathroom cos you didnt have a clue what you were doing and your mrs is ready to call the ambulance because despite you telling her its all safe.....it really doesnt seem it with 1/2 a litre (exaggeration) of blood dripping from your ass cheek!

It's only real when you're sitting in A&E with a huge abcess, waiting to find out if anibiotics will be enough to get rid of it or if they need to cut you open to drain it...

      Just kidding! Good luck!!
