      Hey guys im 16 5ft 10, in trying to gain some muscle while losing fat, in new to lifting as I haven't really ever takin it seriously, I'm gonna start taking it seriously so would eating 2000 calories of lean meats and whole wheat pasta and veggies + fruits be a good diet for trying to build muscle and lose fat?

      Just a FYI - you're consuming basically no fat and no EFAs

      Not good

      You can't do both at the same time.. for most that is.

      Build muscle = calorie surplus
      Lose weight = calorie deficit

      The "in between" would be maintaining a certain weight.

      At your age, 2500-3000 approx. But hard to tell.

      From what I've read as a begginer you can do both for a short period of time

      Butters
      Nuts
      Avocados
      Milk
      Eggs
      Seeds
      Dairy
      Meat
