      As taking steroids increases LDL (Low-Density Lipoprotein) and decreases HDL (High-Density Lipoprotein) cholesterol, what ways can we boost our levels of HDL to better protects ourselves from plaque build-up?

      better diet plan, plenty good fats, if your not intaking bad fats then the amount of ldl is reduced if your not eating it your body cant make it.

      im going to buy myprotein,

      mega omega oil which is i think there version of udos oil omega 3,6,9.
      and
      there coconut-pure butter you can cook with or just spoon it in lol.

      or evoo and ground flaxseed is a good combo with omega 3+6

      Just checked the myprotien mega omega out and its roughly same price as the udos oil which i have now, I get the caps cos its easyer to take consistantly

      ah right the udos ive seen is about £19-20 mp is £13-14 bit £4p&p lol, im not sure how much the udos oil was p&p on the site i checked out.....

      I haven't tried them, was eyeing them up at the supermarket yesterday so they are easy to get your hands on. I recently purchased Holland & Barretts coconut oil (Buy one, get one for a penny).

      just found this, so look like the ratio for omega 9 doenst realy matter and its only the ration of omega 3+6???

      The World Health Organization recommends a ratio of 5:1 to 10:1 omega-6 to omega-3. While a ratio between 1:1 and 4:1 is often considered as being optimal. Since most diets are very rich in omega-6 and low in omega-3, the ratio is often somewhere between 10:1 and 20:1. This is especially a problem with diets that are high in processed foods and oils. Oils like corn, safflower, sunflower and cottonseed are usually low in omega-3s. To balance the fatty acids out, it is important to eat a diet that is low in processed foods and with fat mainly coming from omega-3 fatty acids.
