      Sup brahs,

      I've recently started my journey of reaching my body's full potential but first I need to lose 56 pounds, I'm on a 1500 cal meal plan but find it very hard to stick to due to it's low cal nature could someone help me work on a meal plan that's got moderate carbs involved?

      What are your current stats? Know your TDEE?

      Weight: 196 pounds
      Height: 5'7
      Body fat: Roughly 34% haven't got the exact measurements yet.
      BMI: 30.7
      TDEE: 2418

      I think that covers the majority of my stats haha

      How many cals do you reckon I should be eating to lose 2 pounds a week? Keeping in mind I'll be trying to hit the gym roughly 5 days a week.

      Why are you only eating 1500 calories when you weigh over 196 pounds?

      I'm in a calorie deficit to lose weight, I'm considered Obese I believe so I'm trying to lose 2 pounds a week if possible but find it hard to stick to a low carb meal plan.

      I would aim for a 20% deficit, so like 1900-2000 calories. Track it for 3-4 weeks and adjust as needed. Plus nothing wrong with a cheat day here and there to help maintain sanity.

      Also, there is no need to go low carb: Just reach your protein (1g per body weight) and fat (0.5g x bw) minimum and fill the rest calories with carbs.
