I've been doing 3 day split for 6 weeks and thinking bout changing my routine. Instead of 3x10 and 3xf, thinking of doing 5x5 and 3xf.

My question is quite dumb really, but I have to ask it.

When you do your workouts do you do 3x10 of 1 exersize then move on to the next 3x10 of that, then move on etc. Or do you do 1x10 of each exersize then repeat? I have been doing the latter, but just curious of how others work it.

I'm not sure if it would actually hurt doing it either way around. But imagine something like overhead press and barbell row... You're obviously using the same piece of equipment for both and you may be using the same weight for both so may do 1 set of OHP followed by 1 set of rows alternating like that. To some it may seem weird sure but I dont know if it would really have any negative effect on training to be honest as you're still getting the required number of sets on the 2 excercises done at the end of the session.

ok.. hers my day 1 routine so you get the picture

      pressups 1 x f
      standing barbell shoulder press 1 x 10
