ive seen this around a lot and im either blind or seriously missing something. Lets take one example.

      Morrisons Gammon shank

weight 580 (bare in mind it has a big fckoff bone in the middle.

      Heres the funny part

Nutritional information per pack (Excluding bone)

      Protein 115g - WTF?????

There's no way i can believe that a 580g gammon shank per pack contains a 115g protein and nearly a 1000 cals, that seriously doesnt seem right to me and it wasnt even that much, ive just ate the lot of it including the veggies.

LOL, only way to tell really would be to strip the bone and weigh the meat on its own, see if the meat adds up to about 475g, could be nearly right then

Although it probably isn't out by a mile, nutritional labels are rarely 100% correct. They only have to be within a certain % and if the same product changes manufacturer and different ingredients are added/taken away, the nutritional label doesn't have to change.

I've done tests on a mass gainer shake and the nutritional label details weren't accurate.

how accurate and inacurate does this sound to you? I was expecting it to be half of what it said on the box.
