Do you strain off the excess fat? I do, but then here's the difficult bit, how the hell do you know how much fat is actually left over? I was just forming a new diet plan or rather, re-evaluating my current one, in 1kg uncooked beef mince there is 180g fat, obviously I'm not consuming this much though, so what are your methods of counting fat when straining off beef mince, or do you, like me, just not bother with it?
Beef mince i do but have no idea how much would be left after draining, i do drain it just to make it a bit more healthy !
Beef mince Lol I asked the Mrs what she thought and she said the same thing, didn't even think of collecting the fat as it runs off and weighing it!!
Beef mince Can you find the nutritional value of it cooked, say 100g fat per 200g cooked so then drain it and weigh the meat again (now weighs 180g) wont the 20g difference be the fat
