Hey guys just a quick question that hopefully you can answer ,

      1. Can your body stop responding / get used to a protein powder so it wont work anymore ?

here is my back story im 6ft been training in gym since janurary 2012 used to be skinny fat type of guy im now bulking , back then i was 148lbs and i am now approaching 168lbs and i decided to take sci mx mass system ,40g protein 100g carbs and600 cals a serving i take that 3 times a day , as i need to eat around 3800-4000 cals a day. so i have noticed my weight going up and my lifts gradualy going up but this month for some reason my weight has been stuck at around 167lbs and i dnt seem to be gaining much muscle , because i have been taking the weight gainer for 7 months is it possible that your body can get used to it so you stop seeing results ?

p.s i eat around 4000cals a day 1800cals from my weight gainer 120g protein from weight gainer and 300g carbs from weight gainer

-ty guys appreciate an advice wnt to get bigger!

As you go up in weight you need to increase your calories it has nothing to do with the weight gainer not working. That surplus of calories that you ate before to get to 168 are now enough to maintain your weight at 168 so you need to eat more now.

Everyone is different for me to bulk with minimal fat gains I aim at around 3000 but as I continue to gain weight Ill need to increase to 3300 to continue to get bigger and build muscle. Up your cals and see if your gaining eating 4000+ you can always adjust if your gaining too much fat.

No, your body won't get used to the Gainer per say. Maybe the amount of calories you consume though. Even though 4000 is a **** ton.
In my honest opinion, you should only be taking gainer once a day maybe after a workout. (That's what I do. Personal opinion.) What ever happened to real food? 1800 calories a day from gainer/whey protein is way too much powder. Try to start getting some real food into your nutrition.
